It took nearly 17 years to complete the establishment. Taj Mahal is occupying 67 acres of land area, it houses beautiful gardens, fountains, and other structures. The tomb of the Queen Mumtaz is laid on a rectangular shaped structure. The access to the Taj Mahal is beautiful to see as several fountains, arch, and alcoves are there to beautify the place.

Finally, visiting the Taj Mahal is a lifetime experience. The beauty of the Taj in a full moon night can blow one’s mind easily.

Another name of Agra Fort is Red Fort. Agra Fort is the second most popular tourist destination in Agra. This structure has significant historical value as it was the residence of the Mughal emperors till 1638. In the old days, the fort was a citadel with a moat on three sides and a river on the fourth side.

The red fort consists of a pillared hall for the audience, the harem, the Nagina Masjid, the Mandir Raja Ratan, and a trading place. The most markable place in the fort is Mussaman Burj, the prisoner’s place. In the Mussanman Burj, King Shah Jahan was kept as a captive. The Taj is visible from this place.

Itimad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Agra. It is a historical establishment at the bank of the Yamuna River. The white sandstone structure includes red sandstone made terraces. Because of the similarity with the Taj Mahal, it is often called ‘Baby Taj’.

The Queen Nur Jahan built the architectural landmark, in the memory of her father. The delicately designed structure consists of beautiful latticework. However, The garden in the tomb premises is a very relaxing place. Itimad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb is a must-visit place in Agra.

Agra Tour- Akbar’s Tomb in Sikandara:

Akbar’s Tomb is Sikandara is one of the most fabulous visiting places in Agra. It is a fascinating Mughal architectural example. The red sandstone construction looks amazing with its stunning marble designs.

The marble designs of the ceiling are providing an exquisite view. Again, the calligraphy towards the main tomb is mystical. The construction completion date of this amazing Mughal is 1613.

Finally, the mausoleum is having a red sandstone structure until the 3rd story and the topmost part is made of white marble. There are two tombs. The real tomb is placed underground.
