The paper is regarding the generation of a higher amount of revenue by the company ‘XYZ Company LLC’ within which a new website creation is a prime target. It includes the development of a core project management team from outside of the organization. The monitoring of the project will be directly conducted by the CEO and dedicated personnel who has enough experience in the case of website development and online business-related contexts. The success has been possible due to the dedication and expertise of all the major stakeholders. Thus, the proposal got approval.
Introduction
The project significantly requires IT professionals in association with the professional content writer and website designer. In this contemporary world, the radical advancement in technology and globalization have impacted every aspect of society; both negatively and positively. People are now highly attracted to quality reading materials with exclusive design. In addition, the ranking of the website in the Google search engine is also a crucial fact. If anyone searches for the organization’s mission and the website popped up on the third page, it is not accepted as the searching person will be confused regarding the presence and authority of the organization. So, the website should be equipped with appropriate SEO and keywords, which assist to rank on the first page and in the first listing. Today’s customers are using the internet to find out the best deals, products, facilities, benefits, added values, etc before making any purchasing decision, the businesses in the rural area still do not understand the scenario and losing money, (Caplan, 2020). In this particular case, possessing a solid online presence by creating, updating, and monitoring a website is essential. This type of website is the representation of the organization without any elaboration by the physical presence of the company’s personnel. The readers can easily get an overall understanding of the organizational ethics, mission, vision, current status, market reputation, CSR policies, etc. For the successful outcome of the project, below is a listing of key milestones which are needed to complete successfully for the whole project in a satisfactory manner.
Ø Evaluate the existing website and the analytics. Web analytics is now an essential component to research website visitors’ behavior. Gap analysis leads to finding the reason behind the degraded situation of the website with low reach.
Ø Proposal submission to create a result-oriented website as per gap analysis.
Ø Developing the website upon approval from the sponsor.
The Organization and Core Team
The organization, XYZ Company LLC. is an average level seller of virtual reality-related products. Virtual reality (VR) is the use of computer modeling and simulation that enables a person to interact with an artificial three-dimensional (3-D) visual or other sensory environment, (Lowood, 2021). The organization has targeted to achieve certain goals to retain the organizational growth and development. Here, the organization is in need of a perfect website that not only provides information regarding the company’s demographics but also has the option to buy directly from the website i.e. online shopping. Below is the list product list of the organization. These products are available with different designs and specifications associated with different prices.

The project team is required to have the best performers in case of creating an enhanced and advanced version of the website. Below is the ‘Core Team’ list with responsibilities.

The considered project will consist of the completion of the below-listed tasks. For successful completion, a WBS is crucial from project management’s point of view. The WBS is a significant tool to manage a project more effectively.

Expected Project Outcomes
The project outcome has been selected as the higher degree of understanding of the visitors regarding its mission, vision, and offered beneficial contexts. However, in consideration of the general standard of a successful website’s characteristics, various measuring factors are involved. Below is the listed outcome which is being expected to obtain.
Ø The number of visitors is expected to be 70,000/ week.
Ø The bounce rate should be nearly zero. Bounce rate means the visitor just has a glance at the first page and leaves the site.
Ø Average spending time on a page has to be around 5 minutes minimum.
Ø The Click-through rate must need to meet the score of 45% for the earlier period.
Ø Conversion rate is targeted by having a score of > 60%.
Challenges
It is for sure that budget is going to be a crucial issue. A well-organized and optimized website requires quality content, graphics, and design. Better quality requires a better amount of money. It is difficult to make understand the XYZ Company LLC’s CEO regarding the higher amount budget ($100,000 approximately). Also, the people without knowledge regarding IT used to have the perception that the job is very easy. So, approval of the schedule is also a tough case.
Conclusion
The company should allocate a dedicated and experienced person from XYZ Company LLC to negotiate with the team. This person should have sound knowledge and expertise in website development. The company’s CEO will be assisted by this person in case of decision-making and negotiation.
